ADC Doda finalizes Republic Day arrangements

DODA, JANUARY 18 – Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik today convened a meeting to finalize the arrangements for Republic Day celebrations.
During the meeting, it was informed that the main function will be held at sports stadium where the VIP shall unfurl the flag and take Salute at the March Past while in case of inclement weather the main functions shall be held at District Police Line Doda.
ADC took detailed review of the arrangements pertaining to security, sanitation, medicare , power and water supply and directed the concerned departments to put in place all the necessary arrangements for the smooth celebrations of National Festival.
ADC directed the Municipal committee Doda to beautify the town on national day by illuminating the government buildings and ensure proper sanitation in the town especially the venue.
ACD Doda, Dy SP Hq, XEN PWD (R&B) Doda, besides other Officers participated in the meeting.
