Absconder arrested by Poonch police in Mendhar

Poonch,Sept 23: The Jammu and Kashmir police in Poonch District arrested a man who was wanted in a case but was evading his arrest from last 16 years.

Accused have been identified as Mohd Sageer son of Yar Mohammad resident of Gohlad village of Mendhar.

He was booked in a case FIR 73/2005 under sections 454, 380 RPC of police station Mendhar.

A warrant against him was also issued by Hon'ble Court.

A team of Mendhar police station on Thursday succeeded in arresting the accused during a raid in the area and put the accused behind the bars after sixteen years of commission of crime.
