Security forces destroy sticky bombs in Poonch

POONCH: Security forces on Wednesday destroyed sticky bombs recovered nearly one month ago along with Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that the bombs were recovered around one month back and were destroyed along banks of a river near Bharirakh in Mendhar.
"The bombs were recovered along with an IED on August 13 in Mendhar and were destroyed on the directions of a court," they added.
"During checking a suspicious person identified as Mehmood Hussain of Kasbalari was apprehended and during his personal search an IED having four sticky bombs and an amount of Rs 10500 have been recovered from his possession," the officials had said.
