DC Jammu chairs DLTC meeting to fix SoF

JAMMU, APRIL 06: Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg, today chaired a District Level Technical Committee meeting to finalize the Scale of Finance for the year 2021-22 (Kharif 2021 & Rabi 2021-22) for all agriculture crops including Horticulture Crops, Animal / Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries at Sehkari Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu.
In the meeting, the vital issues regarding the finalization of scale of finance of different Agriculture and Horticulture Crops was approved for Kissan Credit Card (KCC) holders of Jammu district.
Special emphasis was laid for assistance to Mushroom and Apiculture beneficiaries in Jammu district to enhance the additional farm income of the farmers. The DDC Jammu also proposed high density plantation of Mango in Jammu region.
The KCC limit for local and exotic breeds of cows was proposed by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Jammu to ease the credit facility to the beneficiaries. Similarly, the KCC limit of Sheep flocks was enhanced to mobilize sheep rearing beneficiaries in the region. The Scale of Finance for Fisheries related intervention for fish growers was also finalized in the meeting.

Horticulture Officer Jammu, Dr Matloob Ahmad, CAHO Jammu, Dr Anil K Koul, DSHO Jammu, Vijay Kumar, District Horticulture Officer Jammu, Sanjeev Gupta, LDM Jammu, Amit Laira, RM J&K Grameen Bank, Priya Ranjan, DDM NABARD, M.L Sharma, Sr. Manager, PNB, Anu Bala, Assistant Director (F), Vikas Gupta, besides other senior officers from the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
