Two drug peddlers arrested in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 6: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered charas and psychotropic tablets in Anantnag and Bandipora district in the valley, a police spokesman said.
A police party arrested a drug peddler at Khanabal in Anantnag district after charas was recovered from his possession.
Police have registered an FIR and started further investigation, he said.
In another incident, another drug peddler Showkat Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Saloosa Kreeri Baramulla, was arrested near Gundbal bridge in Bandipora.
Large quantity of psychotropic tablets were recovered from his possession.
Case FIR number 2/2021 has been in police station Bandipora and investigation taken up.
