DC Ramban appeals age-appropriate farmers, fruit growers to take vaccination

RAMBAN, APRIL 03: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, Saturday urged the farming community to take vaccination against the Covid-19.
Deputy Commissioner was addressing progressive farmers during an interactive session on DILRMP (Digital India Land Records Management Programme) held under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, here at Conference Hall, Maitra, here today.
Informing the participants about the importance of Covid-19 vaccination, the DC said the new virus strains are virulent and timely vaccination of all people falling in age-appropriate category is the only permanent solution against the virus. He emphasized that the vaccination was absolutely safe and urged the farmers not to pay heed to rumour mongering. "You can go to your nearest CVC to take the first dose, “he said, adding the vaccine provides full protection from Corona virus.
Deputy Commissioner also sought cooperation of the farmers and fruit growers to mobilize people to adhere to Covid protocols, which include wearing of face masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distance.
