Morning Walkers Welfare Association(MWWA) ward no 68.,Greater Kailash Celebrates Holi Festival

Prof P.L.Kaul Chairman MWWA and BJP State Incharge 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan',UT,J&K and his dedicated team celebrated Holi Festival at the Maharaja RanbirSingh Park G.K.BJP Corporator Shri Anilji graced the occasion and was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Sr Citizens,children, members,and people from all walks of life participated in the function observing the neccessary precautionary measures of covid 19.Shri Dograji senior member elaborated the importance of the Holi festival as a mark of peace,brotherhood and unity in diversity.He thrilled the audience by his poetry and narrated the sacrifices of freedom fighters.He lauded the efforts of prof Kaul in overall development,particularly in developing the PARK which is becoming a Life Line for the residents of the colony. .He said Prof Kaul is an asset and a role model for every one of us. He appreciated the efforts of Corporator for developing the colony particularly lanes.
Prof Kaul while welcoming the Chief Guest and the August gathering ,extended his warm Greetings and good wishes on the eve of Holi.He said ,Holi, a festival of colors is an integral part of our rich culture which strengthens our social bonding. This auspicious occasion is a symbol of trumph of good over evil and spreads message of love,friendship and brotherhood.Prof Kaul apprised the Chief Guest about the various development activities of the park and requested for additional funds for its development. Children were the main source of attraction of this occasion and Prof Kaul mentioned their achievements in different sports activities and we are proud of them. Kanihya Sharma and Raghav sharma represented J&K at National level in Dehli and Kupurthala in Speed Ball tournament. Kirtan Saini and Tanmeet Singh represented J&K in Cycling competition at Karnatka.They were felicitated on this occasion and were presented with gifts as a token of love and affection. Prof Kaul introduced the members of Association and apprised them of their good performances.Prof Kaul also introduced a young brigade of youth for spreading awreness about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.Shri Rajesh ji was felicitated for his outstanding work done in his field of Banking.
Corporator Shri Anilji in his address greeted the audience on this colorful festival of Holi and said let this day bring prosperity and happiness in every ones' life. He presented the gifts along with Prof Kaul to the children as a mark of love and affection and they are real heroes of the occasion. At the end National Anthem was sung,with a sloagan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
