Block Divas witnesses enthusiastic public response across Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER-23:- The second Block Diwas witnessed enthusiastic participation of the people across all block head quarters of District Udhampur. The public and PRIs projected their demands, while BDC Chairpersons presided over the function held under the supervision of the designated nodal officers.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nagendra Singh Jamwal also visited Blocks Sewna, Narsoo, and Chenani and listened to the public grievances .
A large number of people from adjoining panchayats of the block participated in the programme and apprised the ADC about the problems faced by them in day to day life. They demanded improvement of roads, augmentation of water and electricity supply and adequate staff at Healthcare and Educational institutions, besides effective implementation of Agriculture, and allied sector schemes.
The ADC gave a patient hearing to the people and resolved many issues on-spot.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Mushtaq Choudhary also visited Block Panchari and Block Moungri on Block Diwas. Different departments disseminated information about different beneficiary oriented Govt schemes and people also applied for the benefits under the same.
