Massive Infrastructure Up-gradation in J&K Underway: Kavinder

Jammu: Former Deputy Chief Minister & senior BJP Leader, Kavinder Gupta today started the construction of 33/11 KV Receiving Station work at Trikuta Nagar park in Gandhi Nagar Constituency. State Co-ordinator REX PDCL- Sanjeev Kailoo, X-En STD- Anil Gupta, Councillor Neeraj Lucky Puri, Subash Sharma, Bhevaneshwar Arora, KK Mahajan were prominent amng those present on the occasion. While addressing the gathering on the occasion Gupta said that elaborate efforts are underway to bring about major reforms in all sectors in Jammu & Kashmir including power sector focusing on area wise balanced development for the betterment of the society. Kavinder said union Government is functioning round the clock with fresh impetus to developmental activities in the hitherto neglected parts of Jammu division as it was BJP’s commitment to end the discrimination of the other regions by abrogating ARTICLE-370.
Commenting on the work started for the construction of 33/11 KV Receiving Station at Trikuta Nagar which has to be executed by JKPDC at 3.74 crores. Gupta said Govt. is focused on the augmentation and regulation of existing power supply in the state. Kavinder stressed on the need to expedite the process for implementation of the other centrally sponsored schemes aiming at a sustainable development of the sector and would bring structural changes besides strengthening the distribution network of state power utilities. After successful commissioning of the receiving station residents of Trikuta Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Channi and adjoining areas shall be benefited. Speaking on the occasion, the Gupta said that Union Government is committed to provide uninterrupted power supply to the people of J&K and concerted efforts are being taken to ensure the same. Gupta continued on saying that in the past six years we had been successful in commissioning six (06) receiving station at Gandhi Nagar, Sunjwan, Hakkal, Gadi Garh, Gangyal ad Sainik Colony in our tenure. The cooperation of general public is necessary for the Government to take forward the developmental activities in J&K, he added. Other prominent persons who were present on the occasion were from Trikuta Nagar Welfare society president Rajinder Kakar and its team members including Er Ashok Kumar Arora, Vice President SN Koul, Gen.Secretary Adv Harsh Vardan Gupta, Secretary Vijay Mahajan, Sandeep Sharma, Rohit (Rinku) Mahajan, K.K Mahajan, SC Sharma, Er Varinder Kumar and Vishal Kapil Khurana.
