Body of missing boy recovered from a waterbody in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 7 A six-year-old boy, who was reported missing since Monday, was found drowned in a river in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said this morning.
They said a minor boy Anees Rafiq Lone, a resident of Sumlar, Bandipora, was reported missing from the house of his maternal uncle at Muslim Abad yesterday.
Relatives of the boy besides other villagers and police launched a massive search operation but could not found him till late in the night.
However, this morning when the search operation was again launched with the first light, the body of Anees was found in Nallah Madhumati.
The body was retrieved and later handed over to his family members for last rites after completing legal formalities,” they said.
Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings.
