Flight operations to be made functional in Jammu, Srinagar from May 25

Jammu: As passenger air traffic is set to resume operations from Monday across the country after two months in the wake of COVID-19. The flight operations would also be made functional in Jammu as well as Srinagar from 25th May.

AIR Correspondent reports that 13 flights will be operating from the Srinagar International Airport whereas 8 Flights will be operating at Jammu Airport.

Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered that all passengers coming to the UT of J&K from across the other states and Union Territories will be kept under quarantine for 14 days and tested for COVID-19 using RTPCR test. The order further reads, If someone among the returnees have been tested negative, they will be sent home, but if someone among the returnees tested positive will be sent to the hospital under the state protocol under Disaster Management Act in order to contain the further spread of Corona Virus.
