J&K PCB conducts public hearing at Khour

JAMMU FEBRUARY 14: J&K Pollution Control Board (J&K PCB), Jammu conducted a public hearing at Bijowala Talab, Narayana in Tehsil Khour
The public hearing was conducted as a part of Environmental Clearance process under EIA for Mining of Minor Minerals (River Bed Mining) Project at Khourwali Khad upstream/downstream Khourwali Khad at village Narayana, tehsil Akhnoor and Village Thandi-Choi, Khour for five blocks.
The Environmental Management Plan prepared by the Environmental Consultant representing the Project Proponent was discussed in detail and number of queries were answered on the spot by the Project Consultant. All the issues raised were patiently heard and recorded in detail.
