JAMMU, JANUARY 24: The full dress rehearsals for celebration of Republic Day 2020 held across all the districts of Jammu Division with utmost fervour and zeal.
At Jammu: The full dress rehearsals Republic Day celebration held today at M.A Stadium Jammu amid tight security arrangements. The contingents of various departments including, Army, CRPF, JKP, NCC cadets and other departments besides various schools also participated in March past. On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Jammu took salute to the march past.
School children and artists of J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages presented colourful cultural performances while brilliant performances by the Dare Devils of JK Police mesmerized the audience by stunning stunts.
At Kathua: A colourful and vibrant full dress rehearsal was conducted at District Sports Stadium Kathua in view of the R-Day Celebrations, 2020.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Atul Gupta hoisted the National Flag and took salute from the march past comprising of 46 contingents from CRPF, District Police, Police Training School, NCC boys and girls and tiny platoons of boys and girls from different government as well as private educational institutions.
While addressing the gathering ADC memorized the supreme sacrifices laid down by our freedom fighters and their contributions in freedom struggle. He said Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force and we must learn, study and understand the most important document of the Indian society, adhere to the rules and recognize the fundamental rights.
SSP Shridhar Patil, ASP Ramnish Gupta, CEO, District Officers besides Principals of Government and Private schools and large number of students attended the full dress rehearsal.
At Reasi: Full dress rehearsal held at Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium Reasi wherein Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma hoisted the national flag.
In his address, the ADC highlighted the significance of Republic Day and said that the Indian Constitution has a unique place in the democratic world. He said that our Constitution has derived the best portions of constitutions of democracies like the UK, US, Germany and Ireland.
Total 30 contingents presented march past before the Chief Guest out of which 4 consist of J&K Police, J&K Home Guards, CRPF and Indian Reserve Police each; 4 squads of NCC cadets and the rest consisted of local schools. 13 cultural presentations were also given on the occasion.
At Ramban: Full-dress rehearsal for 71st Republic Day celebration was held with patriotism at District Police Line Chandrog, Ramban where Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Ashok Sharma hoisted the National Flag and took the salute from the contingents.
As many as 18 contingents including Military Band, CRPF, SSB, IRP, JKP, FPF, NCC squads and students’ contingents drawing from various institutions took part in the parade. ADC inspected the parade and observed the band drill and other programme. Students and Artists were also presented their cultural programmes.
ADC expressed satisfied over the arrangements made by various departments for smooth celebrations of R-Day.
ACR, Dhirendra Sharma, ASP, Sanjay Parihar, CEO, AH Fani, DSP, Executives Engineers, heads of various institutions, prominent citizen general public witnessed the event.
At Kishtwar: Full dress rehearsal in connection with the celebrations of 71st Republic Day held today with mock drills, parades and flag hoisting at Parade ground Kishtwar here.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohd. Hanief Malik hoisted the national flag and took salute to the march past of the participating contingents, while school children of private and government school also participated.
ADDC inspected all the march past contingents, meanwhile various cultural programme were also rehearsed by students from different educational institutions.
ADC Kishtwar, Pawan Kumar Parihar, ASP Nasir Ahmed, DSP DAR, Iftikar Ahmed, DSP Hq. Sunny Gupta, CAHO Kishtwar, Tehsildar Kishtwar various Contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, CISF, FPF, school children besides district officers, officials of police and civil administration also remained present.
At Doda: Full-dress rehearsal held today with mock drills, parades and flag hoisting at Sports Stadium Doda.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma hoisted the national flag and took salute to the march past of the participating contingents, while school children also participated.
ADC Doda inspected all the march past contingents and asked the participating schools to rectify the minor deficiency which he observed during the inspection.
Cultural programs were also present at the venue besides tableaus were displayed before the screening committee.
SP Operations Ravinder Pal Singh, ASP Master Popsy, ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, CEO Doda, SDPO Gandoh/Parade Commander Mohd Nawaz Khanday, DSP DAR Mansoor Ahmed, AD Fisheries, District Officer Youth Service Sports, Contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, FPF, school children besides district officers, officials also remain present.
Besides, full dress rehearsal for Republic Day celebrations was also held at New Bus Stand Bhaderwah in which Tehsildar Bhaderwah Zeeshan Tahir unfurled the tricolour and took salute at the march past presented by the CRPF, contingents of CRPF, IRP 5th BN, NCC Senior & Junior Division and Platoons from Govt and Private school.
At Udhampur: Full dress rehearsal in connection with 71st R-Day celebration was conducted today at Government PG College Boys Udhampur.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh hoisted the National flag and took salute at an impressive march past of 35 contingents drawn from CRPF, SKPA, District Police Volunteers Home Guards, NCC, Flag troops, Civil Scots and different educational institutions.
As many as 9 cultural troops of different educational institutions also participated in the Full dress rehearsal.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC appealed for ensuring maximum participation of the citizens on January 26, 2020 to celebrate Republic Day function jointly with full enthusiasm and national fervour in a big way.
Among others, Chief Education Officer, P.D Sharma, District Sports Officer, Swarn Singh, DSP HQ, Rohit Chadgal, DSP Dar, Himat Singh, Tehsildar Udhampur Mohit Gupta, besides other officers and heads of various departments to witness the full dress rehearsal.
At Rajouri: In order to ensure smooth and successful celebration of Republic day-2020, the district administration today conducted Full dress rehearsal here at District Police Line ground Rajouri.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh took the salute at an impressive march past of 33 contingents drawn from JK Armed Police, JK Executive Police, JK Lady Police, CRPF,BSF, ITBP, JK Home Guard, Forest Protection Force, NCC and students of different educational institutions besides Police Band took part in a full dress rehearsal.
The students also presented scintillating cultural items based on patriotism, cultural traditions and social evils including physical display which was highly liked by the audience present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC urged upon the students to exhibit their performance more skilfully on the date of function to make the celebration a grand success.
ACR Mohammad Ashraf, DYSO Ashok Gandotra,District Culture Officer Alam Dar, Warden Gujjar Hostel Mohd Azam, DSP DAR Zaheer Abhas and other officers from district administration were present on the occasion to witness the full dress rehearsal.
At Poonch: full dress rehearsal in connection with the Republic Day celebrations held at sports stadium Poonch.
ADDC Mohd Rashid Chowdhary unfurled the National Flag, inspected the parade and took salute of the march past presented by the contingents of security forces including JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, BSF ,bands of different security forces and students of different schools.
ASP Adil Hamid, Parade Commander DSP Operation Manish Sharma and officers from police and civil were present on the occasion.
At Samba: Full dress rehearsal regarding R-Day celebration today held at Sports Stadium
Additional Deputy Commissioner Vikas Gupta hoisted the tri-colour and took salute at the March Past contingents of CRPF, Army, NCC Cadets, school children of different schools.
ACR Kulbhushan Khajuria, GM DIC Sansar Chand, ASP Faisal Qureshi, besides other District officers, students, police personals and local gathering were also present on the occasion.
