ADDC Poonch reviews National Voters Day Celebrations

POONCH, JANUARY 20: Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch Mohd Rashid Choudhary today convened a review meeting regarding the celebration of 10th National Voters Day.
During the meeting it was decided that district level function will be held GDC Poonch on January 25 meanwhile similar function will also be held at every polling station under the theme "Electoral Literacy for Strong Democracy”. It was also decided in the meeting that a rally will be taken out from DC office complex to GDC Poonch
ADDC asked the officers to ensure participation of all departments to celebrate National Voters Day in their respective jurisdictions as per guidelines. He also said that special focus will be given on new voters and PWD Voters who have attained 18 years of age recently.
The meeting was attended by Deputy DEO, ASP, Tehsildar Haveli, ACD, ACR and representative of Education Department.
