28 FEB: Weather will improve on 1 and 2 March across Jammu and Kashmir said Meteorological Department Srinagar Director Mukhtar Ahmad.
While talking to mdia, Mukhtar Ahmad said incessant rainfall was witnessed in 27 and 28 February. He enumerated Udhampur witnessed 215 mm rainfall, Batote witnessed 167 mm and Jammu, Reasi and Ramban experienced 100 mm rainfall.
Mukhtar Ahmad added that South Kashmir witnessed heavy rainfall and moderate snowfall, North Kashmir experienced light snowfall and Intermittent rainfall was witnessed in Jammu Division
MeT Srinagar Director forecasted that there will be moderate to heavy snowfall in North Kashmir and Central Kashmir on 3 March and weather will remain dry on 4 March.
