Jammu: Two daily wagers of PDD who are on hunger strike demanding increase in honorarium and regularization were hospitalized after their condition started deteriorating,here in Panama Chowk, in district Jammu.
Reports said that two daily wagers of PDD namely Vijay Kumar (42) son of Tilak Raj of Bishnah and Vishal Gupta (47) son of Bharat Bhushan Gupta of sector 2 Roop Nagar Jammu were admitted in GMCH Jammu due to some health issue during the hunger strike at Panama Chowk Trikuta Nagar Jammu.
Pertinently around one hundred and fifty employees affiliated with the All J&K PDD Daily Wager Employees Union (PDL/TDL), led by their President Akhil Sharma today assembled outside the office of the Managing Director, JPDCL, at Panama Chowk, Jammu, and held a protest and chain hunger strike in support of their demands.Their protests was continued till last reports poured in.
