JUNE 3: On Tuesday, LG Manoj Sinha terminated three Government employees from services owing to their connection proscribed terror outfits in J&K.
It is learnt that LG Manoj Sinha sacked three employees – Malik Ishfaq Naseer, a police constable; Ajaz Ahmed, a teacher in the school education department; and Waseem Ahmad Khan, a Junior Assistant in Government Medical College, Srinagar who were in connection with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizb-ul-Mujahidin (HM).
In a stern attempt to dismantle the terror ecosystem and targeting both active terrorists and OGWs, LG Government is at forefront. After assuming charge in August 2020, LG Government has been actively vigilant in nabbing the associates of terrorists and ensuring tranquility in the region.
Following the Operation Sindoor, three encounters broke out in J&K which were furiously retaliated by Indian Armed Forces.
