Rajouri: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri has placed a government school teacher under suspension for allegedly violating the service control and conduct rules set by the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department.
According to an official order, Mr. Jahangir Alam, a teacher at NPS Puttan Wali in Zone Thanamandi, has been suspended with immediate effect. The action follows directives issued by the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) via letter No. DSEJ/NG/Tr/4688-89 dated February 13, 2025.
The order further states that the Principal of Higher Secondary School (HSS) Plangarh has been assigned to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter. The Principal has been directed to submit a detailed report, along with personal remarks, within three days to facilitate further proceedings and update higher authorities accordingly.
