JAMMU, 4 Feb: J&K Congress president Tariq Hameed Karra said that the high claims pertaining to apt security scenario in J&K are contrary to ground situation.
Targeting the Government of India, Karra said that the not only in Kashmir but also in Jammu, the tall claims vis-a-viz security stand exposed. He added that the GOI has miserably failed to tackle the security situation in J&K.
Karra said, “I think the GOI which repeatedly created the false narratives that all is well must think seriously and work towards developing a conducive situation in J&K”
On the supreme sacrifice of ex-serviceman in Kulgam, Congress stalwart said the incident is unfortunate and the Government is misleading people on security.
Situations not favourable for peace as per the projections of GOI reiterates Karra, adding, Government must introspect and come out clean on the situation of J&K. On the Assembly Elections, Karra said, “Our aim was to keep BJP out of the power corridor and we succeeded in J&K.”
