Jammu, Apr 10: Security forces detained a person considered suspicious at a military installation in the Jammu region, and an investigation has been initiated to examine his activities, officials said.
According to sources, the individual was taken into custody for questioning after security personnel noticed unusual circumstances surrounding him. Authorities confirmed that the matter is currently under detailed scrutiny.
Officials further stated that more information will be shared once the ongoing inquiry progresses and facts are verified.
Meanwhile, preliminary reports suggested that the detained individual was working as a driver of a van associated with an Army Public School located near the Sunjwan military area. During initial checks, investigators reportedly found that his mobile phone contained contacts linked to three numbers from Pakistan.
Security agencies are continuing their probe to determine the nature of these contacts and whether any security concerns are involved.
