MARCH 26: J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah threw open iconic Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar on Wednesday.
Asia’s largest Tulip Garden has bloomed in vibrant picturesque enthralling large number of tourists.
The opening of Tulip Graden marks the arrival of Spring season in Kashmir valley. The garden which accomodates 1.7 million Tulips extends over 30 hectars also gives larger room to tourists from different locations to cherish the moment.
It is learnt that the iconic garden besides enthralling tourists will take regional economy to new heights.
On the occasion, Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani, Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmed Dar, MLA Tanvir Sadiq, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri and other prominent personas were present.
