Jammu and Kashmir, May 22:Several parts of Jammu and Kashmir are expected to continue receiving intermittent rain and thundershowers till Saturday, with weather activity likely to remain more intense across the Kashmir valley.
According to Kashmir Weather Watch, some areas may experience short but heavy showers along with strong winds, lightning and the possibility of hailstorms during this period.
The advisory, however, clarified that no long spell of continuous rainfall is expected across the Union Territory.
People, especially those residing in hilly and vulnerable areas, have been urged to stay alert and take necessary precautions during thunderstorms and gusty weather conditions
