JULY 9: Incessant rain lashed parts of Jammu city bringing down the temperature and offering respite from stiffling humidity.
It is learnt that mercury has plummeted with aggressive downpour and people are finding it hard to navigate.
A spell of light to moderate rain will be witnessed at several places of Kashmir Division, Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi, Udhampur & plains of Jammu during next 4-6 hours.
As per Meteorological Department Srinagar, a few places may receive intense showers which may generate flash-floods/ Landslides/Mudslides/Shooting stones.
The forecast is also about few places may experience strong gusty winds (40-50KMPH)
Travellers are advised to plan accordingly & follow Traffic advisory.
