MARCH 27: Police on Thursday conducted raids at several locations in connection with the investigation into banned outfits.
It is learnt that the raids were conducted in Ganderbal, Shopian and Baramulla districts.
The aim behind the raids was to dismantle the organisations that are emanating venom and pose a potential threat to the society. The proscribed outfits raided were Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), J-K Muslim League (Masrat Alam Faction) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) they said.
As per the reports, Police conducted searches at the residences of separatists suspected in unlawful activities that are dangerous to national security. In the course of searches, law enforcement body has seized the incriminating material associated with activities of banned groups. Besides, the recovered material has been placed under investigation.
Since a few days, Police has been conducting searches at multiple locations in the valley in view of dismantling the terror and separatist ecosystem.
