MAY 8: Congress MP and LoP Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that after attending the all-party meeting in Delhi, issue of security of people living at border was raised and it was said that Congress stands with the Government in times of crisis.
Mallikarjun Kharge said we also suggested that the families of Poonch victims should be taken care of.
While speaking to media, Kharge said, “The Government assured us that they would take all the needed steps. We didn’t press further on any issue in the national interest.”
Kharge further added, that LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi demanded that a Parliament Session in this reagrd must be called as it would give a good impression.
Kharge said the Government has conveyed that all the propaganda that is going on is bogus.
