MAY 7: At least 10 people were killed and over 40 injured as Pakistan rangers resorted to heavy artillery and mortar shelling in forward villages along LoC in J&K.
Following the missiles attacks on nine terror targets in Pakistan and PoJK, Pakistan resorted to intense shelling from across the border.
Indian Army commenced these strikes following the constant violation of ceasefire by Pakistan for more than 10 consecutive days happening after the Pahalgam attack that claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians.
Panic gripped the ambiance after the indiscriminate shelling along LoC in Balakote, Mendhar, Mankote, Krishna Ghati, Gulpur, Kerni and even Poonch district.
This resulted in the damage of houses and left 10 persons dead and over 40 injured.
