JAMMU, MARCH 11: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that our country has 3 names Bharat, India and Hindustan.
Replying a question posed by a reporter on RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale’s statement batting for India to be officially called Bharat, CM Omar said that the county has three names Bharat, India and Hindustan. He further added it is a choice by what name one can call India.
“Country has three names – Bharat, India, and Hindustan. It is a choice one can use whatever name they want,” Omar said.
CM Omar also said that on PM Modi’s plane, India and Bharat both are written.
