Indian Army organizes medical camp in Karnah

Jammu, October 22: A medical camp was organized on 21 Oct for the people of villages of Taad, Hajitra, Sudpura & Dhanni located along the Line of Control.

The basic medical care was provided at the doorstep by four Doctors of Indian Army which included two lady officers and a Dental Specialist. The patients including women, children and elderly were treated. The presence of women Doctors encouraged the girls and women to seek medical treatment uninhibited. The lady doctors also advised them regarding nutrition and personal hygiene.

The doctors inspected the patients, referred those requiring further diagnosis to specialists and prescribed medicines to those who had minor ailments. A lecture was also conducted on COVID19 protocols and on prevention of cold related ailments for all those present.

The medical camp was well received by the residents of these villages who turned up in large numbers to benefit from the initiative.
