Srinagar, May 7: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday paid tribute to the armed forces on the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, stating that the mission symbolised India’s strong commitment to defending the nation and combating terrorism after the Pahalgam attack.
In a post on X, LG Sinha said, “As we mark the anniversary of #OperationSindoor, we bow in reverence to the men and women in uniform whose unwavering resolve and extraordinary courage, delivered a fitting response to the enemy who targeted innocent civilians at Pahalgam”.
It further said that the administration remains committed to eliminating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace and a terror-free atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir.
