APRIL 3: With security forces ensuring optimal vigilance and waiting in wings to hunt and gun down three hiding terrorists, the Kathua encounter entered the 12th consecutive day.
The search operation has been intensified with the deployment of additional soldiers which have heightened the security cover said an official.
Contingents of Army, National Security Guards, Police, Search Operation Groups, Central Reserve Police Force, and Border Security Force have been deployed to thwart the nefarious bids and kill the infiltrating terrorists.
It is learnt that to dismantle the Over Ground Workers (OGW) network upholding terrorists, security forces are attempting to cut off the supply of food and shelter. The security force personnel have emphasized the fact it is hard for the terrorists to survive devoid of the support from OGWs.
