Jammu,Apr 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Tuesday announced the Class 10 examination results for students of the Jammu division, recording an overall pass percentage of 88.85 percent.
According to official data, girls outperformed boys in the examination results. The pass rate among girls stood at 90.42 percent, while 87.51 percent of boys successfully cleared the exams.
A total of 50,754 students appeared in the annual examination held in March this year, including 27,486 boys and 23,268 girls. Out of these, 45,094 students—comprising 24,054 boys and 21,040 girls—were declared successful.
The figures further indicated that approximately 5,650 students were unable to pass the examination.
