JAMMU The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued orders for the adjustment of 43 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and the transfer and posting of 17 others with immediate effect. The move follows their promotion as DSPs under Government Orders issued on December 9 and 10, 2024.
The officers adjusted in new roles include Vishal Singh Jamwal, Suhail Rashid, Pardeep Gupta, Mushtaq Ahmad, Mir Afaq Ahmad, Tahir Yousuf, Mohd Amin, Kulbir Singh, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, Sanjiv Sharma, Musadiq Abass, Om Parkash, Mohd Ramzan, Gulshan Akhter, Munir Ahmad, Manzoor Ahmad, Hafizullah Mir, Ms. Rajinder Kour, Sheikh Ghulam Jeelani, Aftab Ahmad Bhat, Nisar Ahmad Hura, Sanjay Kumar Abrol, Pir Atiquallah, Bishnesh Kumar, Mohd Faisal Khan, Nasir Ahmad, and Mohid Yousuf Dar. Their postings have been made across different battalions, security units, and special operations divisions.
Further transfers include Showkat Ahmad, Masarat Akhter, Mushtaq Ahmad, Mohd Amin, Dalbir Kour, Deepanker Singh, Vijay Kumar, Ms. Reena Devi, Rakesh Kumar, Neeraj Bhagat, Prablva Diyal, Karan Kumar, Bashir Ahmad, Almas Sharma, Showkat Ahmad, and Shashi Kant. They have been reassigned to different divisions such as traffic management, CID, civil defense, and SOG units.
Additional officers transferred include Afrat Hussain, Bhupinder Kumar, Tussif Ahmed, Shaid Nahiem Ahmed, Neeraj Kumar, Rohit Chadgal, Vikram Singh, Raghubir Singh, Farha Nishat, Anulouti Asil Sagar, Ashok Kumar, Sarbjeet Singh, Varinder Gupta, Sultan Mehmood, Shabinder Singh, and Manjeet Singh. Their new postings span across intelligence branches, police training schools, border battalions, and field operations.
The reshuffle aims to enhance the efficiency of police operations and ensure better management of law and order in the region. The concerned officers have been relieved from their current assignments and directed to assume their new roles immediately.
