Jammu: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a Sub-Committee to examine grievances raised by aspirants regarding Reservation Rules.
The decision was approved by the Council of Ministers in its meeting held on November 22, 2024, under Decision No. 012/03/2024, and formalized through Government Order No. 2061-JK(GAD) of 2024, issued on December 10, 2024.
The Sub-Committee comprises cabinet Ministers Sakina Masood, Javed Ahmed Rana, and Satish Sharma. It has been tasked with consulting all stakeholders to address the concerns and presenting its findings to the Council of Ministers. The Social Welfare Department will provide support to the committee in its functioning.
The order was issued by Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
