JAMMU: The Home Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has relieved three IPS officers, who have been transferred from the UT to other States and UTs by the Ministry of Home Affairs earlier.
They have been named as Umesh Kumar,IPS (AGMUT 2009),DIG Training PHQ, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav,IPS(AGMUT 2013),SO to IGP Technical Services and Sandeep Gupta,IPS (AGMUT 2015),AIG Tech PHQ.
Meanwhile three senior police officers have been assigned the additional charge of the posts falling vacant due to the relieving of the IPS officers.
These officers include Mubassar Latifi Ameer,DIG (Pers)PHQ shall hold the charge of post of DIG Training PHQ,Azhar Bashir Baba AIG, Crime and Complaints, PHQ, shall hold the charge of post of SO to IGP Technical Services and Al Tahir Geelani,SO to DGP J&K, shall hold the charge of the post of AIG (Tech) ,PHQ.
