SRINAGAR, JULY 25: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary has reaffirmed NC-led Government’s commitment to fulfill the aspirations of people, adding, assessment of past 8-9 months crucial file record is underway to set the seal on the transparency.
Addressing the media after Public Darbar, Deputy CM said that any flaw in the record will be brought forth to the public reiterating the Government’s determination towards acountability in the working system.
Targeting the BJP, Dy CM Choudhary said that their silence should not be mistaken as a sign of weakness.
Dy CM said, “Our silence is not weakness it’s an attempt to maintain relations with Delhi. But if needed, we will clearly express and open up the truth.”
Answering a question posed by a journalist, Choudhary said, “Chugh hasn’t been an MLA in his career and his condemnation for Dr. Farooq Abdullah is highly illogical and obnoxious.”
He questioned BJP National General Secretary,”In these 11 years of BJP Government, has corruption stopped and terrorism been rooted out?
Dy CM Choudhary also said transparency will be witnessed in electoral matters.
“If any flaws occur in the voter lists, they will be addressed. NC is a political outfit which has been elected by people’s mandate.”
Choudhry further called upon the media in Jammu and Kashmir to play a positive role post Pahalgam massacre.
