May 27: Minor girl which was kidnapped by one Shoket Ali S/O Mussa Gujar R/O Chakka Bhartund Tehsil Rajgarh District Ramban has been recovered by Doda Police from Haryana and the kidnapping case has been solved.
In a statement issued by Doda Police, it has been stated that On 05-05-2025 a report was lodged at Police Post Kastigarh of PS Doda by one Shoket Ali S/O Bashir Ahmed R/o Gurmul Dhandal tehsil Kastigarh District Doda that his daughter (name withheld) has been kidnapped by some unknown person(s). The kidnapped girl was underage and accordingly a case FIR No. 103/2025 U/S 137 (2) BNS was registered at PS Doda and investigation set into motion. Police swung into action and activated all the sources as well as enquired from the parents/relatives of the girl.
A special Police team was constituted by Senior officers and despatched to Haryana for tracing the girl. Police team of PS Doda and PP Kastigarh under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Doda and SHO PS Doda and overall Supervision of SSP Doda Sh Sandeep Mehta succeeded in recovering the abducted minor girl from Haryana and accused namely Shoket Ali S/O Mussa Gujar R/O Chakka Bhartund Tehsil Rajgarh District Ramban has been arrested. After recording her statement and completing other legal formalities the girl has been handed over to her legal heirs. The case is under investigation with PS Doda.
