Jammu,July 7: The Jammu district administration on Tuesday flagged off four free electric buses from the Tawi River Front for Amarnath pilgrims visiting the city.
The initiative aims to help pilgrims and tourists from across the country visit Jammu’s prominent religious sites during their stay.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Jammu said the free e-bus service has been introduced to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for pilgrims. The buses will take devotees to major temples in Jammu, allowing them to explore the city’s rich religious and cultural heritage.
He added that special arrangements, including refreshments, have been made for the passengers to ensure a hassle-free journey.
The district administration said the initiative is intended to provide Amarnath pilgrims with a safe, comfortable, and memorable travel experience.
