Samba, 27 September: While the era of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government is marked by development and public welfare initiatives, the era governed by Congress was marred by height of corruption and betrayal.
Sat Sharma (CA), President, J&K BJP said this while he inaugurated an exhibition on the inspiring life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Samba district. The exhibition was organized as part of the ongoing Seva Parv in connection with the birthday celebrations of PM Modi, showcasing his journey of sacrifice, dedication, and selfless service to the nation. Later, Sat Sharma, along with senior party leaders also addressed a public meeting in Samba.
J&K BJP Vice-President Rekha Mahajan (District Prabhari), and Rashpaul Verma, MLAs Surjit Singh Salathia, and Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Secretary Arun Sharma, District President Asha Rani, Vice-Chairperson DDC Balwan Singh, DDCs Subhash Bhagat, Ramesh Chander, Kartar Chand, Suresh Kumar Falli, Seh-Prabhari Manmohan Singh, Inderjit Sharma, and other BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma underlined that the last 11 years of Prime Minister Modi’s government have completely transformed India. He said that the PM Modi has given the nation a new identity of strength, integrity, and development. From providing free ration to 80 crore people, ensuring tap water to crores of households, building record numbers of highways, airports, and railways, empowering women through schemes like Ujjwala and Lakhpati Didi Yojana, and securing the nation through decisive policies, every step reflects his unwavering commitment to public welfare.
Drawing a sharp contrast with previous regimes, Sharma remarked that the Congress governments and their allies had left the country in a state of despair. He said that corruption, nepotism, and betrayal of people’s trust were the hallmarks of Congress rule. While Congress leaders looted the nation and stalled its progress, Modi Ji’s leadership has restored dignity, pride, and prosperity to India.
Surjit Singh Salathia emphasized that the people of Jammu & Kashmir have directly witnessed the benefits of Modi government’s policies. He said that be it the empowerment of Panchayati Raj, massive development projects, or transparent governance, the difference between BJP’s governance and Congress misrule is visible to all.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that the exhibition not only narrates the inspiring life of Prime Minister Modi but also instills a sense of responsibility among citizens to contribute towards the vision of a strong India. Every initiative under Modi Ji’s leadership reflects inclusivity and justice, he added.
The others who spoke on the occasion, include Rekha Mahajan, Rashpaul Verma, and Asha Rani.
