MAY 15: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Srinagar on Thursday.
Pertinently, it is the first visit of Rajnath Singh following Pahalgam massacre and Operation Sindoor.
He was flanked by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
It is learnt that Singh is likely to meet the Armed Forces in Srinagar. Meanwhile, after the Operation Sindoor and ceasefire agreement between both nations (India and Pakistan) normalcy has been restored in J&K.
Also, several non-border area schools have opened across Jammu and Kashmir which were shutdown due to India-Pakistan conflict.
After a week suspension of Helicopter services, it has been resumed from Katra to Vaishno Devi Shrine with ease in Indo-Pak tension.
Also, three terrorists were gunned down by the security forces in Shopian recently.
Moreover, an encounter has been ongoing in Tral wherein security forces have killed three terrorists.
