MARCH 15: A Srinagar Court has decided April 8 as hearing against the organisers of a Gulmarg Fashion Show which occurred during the holy month of Ramzan.
The Court has reviewed the complaint of Advocate Naveed Bukhtiyar, terming the fashion show as obscene and said there was public consumption of alcohol.
In this regard the Court has assessed the complaint and scheduled a hearing for April 8.
Besides, the accused will be accorded with a chance prior to any chance is taken.
Pertinent to mention, the Fashion Show took place on March 7 in Gulmarg and triggered huge row politicians coming down heavily on it.
CM Omar Abdullah had dubbed this show as vulgarity and said this shouldn’t have happened not only in Ramzan but in any part of the year.
