MARCH 20: J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said a committee has been formed under Chief Secretary to address the woes of daily wagers in Union Territory.
CM Omar said the panel will submit the recommendation to the Government in six months.
He emphasized that National Conference Government is determined to fill the vacant posts in Government Services at the earliest.
A question was posed by BJP MLA Satish Sharma in House to which CM Omar Abdullah apprised about the committee formed to redress the issue.
CM Omar Abdullah said a time-period of six months has been given to take stock of the matter of Daily Wagers
Following the recommendations, the Government will act accordingly said Omar.
Pertinent to mention, J&K Government on Wednesday framed a comprehensive a six-member committee to examine issues pertaining to regularisation of daily wagers.
Omar Abdullah reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to filling the vacancies on a war -footing basis.
