APRIL 2: Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh on Wednesday in Lok Sabha said that the Government of India (GoI) has provided a 42-day special casual leave to Central Government employees for organ donation.
Dr Jitendra Singh said this in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha.
According to the order issued by Ministry in 2023, the time period of special casual leave will be maximum of 42 days as per the recommendations of Government registered medical practitioner.
It is learnt that special casual leave shall be taken in one pull right from the admission day in hospital.
