JAMMU, MARCH 11: On the heels of CM Omar Abdullah statement that the issue of Daily Wagers is not Financial but Humanitarian issue and resorting of lathi charge shouldn’t have happened on Daily Wagers, the opposition MLAs stood up from their seats and countered Omar Abdullah.
“I express strong desire that next time Police under control of Union Home Department will not resort to lathi charge,” Omar Abdullah indirectly pointed at BJP.
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary has questioned opposition for lame 10 years towards the issue of Daily Wagers.
Leader of Opposition (LoP) Sunil Sharma said that why there was no provision for Daily Wagers in Budget and he was strongly refuted by the MLA sitting in Treasury Bench MLAs prompting the uproar.
Amid the slogans “Chor Machaye Shor” BJP MLAs staged walk out from Assembly.
