MAY 27: Following the inputs of suspicious movement of terrorists in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, security forces on Tuesday launched search operations.
A joint team of J&K Police, Army and CRPF have launched the cordon and search operation, in upper reaches of Kathua.
As per the official reports, the security forces received information about suspected movement of terrorists, on the heels of which anti-terror operation was launched to neutralise the threat.
Following Operation Sindoor, the three encounters in Shopian, Awantipora and Kishtwar have raged in J&K wherein six terrorists were killed and one army personnel were martyred.
