Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that Cyclone Montha caused an estimated ₹5,265 crore in damages across Andhra Pradesh. The losses span multiple sectors, with the Roads and Buildings Department suffering the highest impact.

The Chief Minister stated that a formal report will be submitted to the central government and updated as further assessments are completed. He emphasized the role of technology in disaster preparedness, citing the use of over 600 drones and the Mana Mitra app for real-time monitoring and coordination.
Districts such as Nellore, Bapatla, and Prakasam received heavier rainfall than expected, while landfall occurred near Antarvedi village in Konaseema district. Reservoirs across the state are now filled to 90% capacity, holding approximately 98.5 TMC of water.
More than one crore alert messages were sent to residents, and police wireless systems were used for emergency communication. Proactive measures helped prevent crop damage and ensured swift removal of fallen trees and electric poles. Rehabilitation centers and medical camps were set up in advance to support affected communities.
