MARCH 5: Delhi Court reserved its order for Engineer Rashid’s plea to attend the upcoming Parliament Session until March 7.
It is learnt that the Court had asked the National Investigation Agency to respond to Er Rashid’s plea on March 3.
Jailed MP Baramulla Engineer Rashid, has defeated NC vice president and Chief Minister J&K Omar Abdullah and People’s Conference leader Sajad Lone in the 2024 Parliamentary Polls.
Moreover, the second chapter of Parliament’s Budget Session would commence on March 10 and conclude on April 4, 2025.
Pertinent to mention that, Engineer Rashid was given interim bail to campaign for Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir in the month of September 2024.
Rashid is Tihar jail for the terror-funding case.
