14 Feb: Police has attached the property worth lakhs under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in Sopore.
Police has seized a single-storied residence along with a single-storied poultry farm and two kanals of land in the estate of Rakhi Sultanpora at Sumbal of Sopore in Baramulla district.
It is learnt that this action, taken under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) of 1967, is linked to Case FIR No. 307/2023 of Police Station Sopore.
Pertinent to mention that the attachment was conducted by a contingents of Police and Executive Magistrate, ensuring the stringent compliance of law and order.
Tightening the noose against the crime reflects the unwavering commitment of Police towards eliminating the crime from society.
