Srinagar, Sept 28 :Four legislators, including two from the BJP and two from the Congress, were escorted out of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly by marshals on Monday following a noisy protest inside the House.
The BJP’s Arvind Gupta and Vikram Randhawa, along with Congress MLAs Advocate Irfan Hafeez Lone and Iftikhar Ahmed, were asked to leave as the proceedings were disrupted by repeated protests and slogans.
The incident occurred during heated exchanges between members, with the situation escalating amid continued uproar on the floor of the House.
Marshals stepped in to bring the situation under control and escorted the four legislators out of the Assembly.
