Srinagar, July 4: Passengers travelling through Srinagar Airport can expect uninterrupted flight operations, as the airport has cancelled its earlier proposal to suspend runway operations on Mondays and Tuesdays.

In an official update shared on Saturday, the airport confirmed that flights will continue to operate on all seven days of the week. Operational hours will remain from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while scheduled runway maintenance will be carried out only during the night until October 2026.

The airport said the earlier proposed Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for a full runway closure on Mondays and Tuesdays has now been withdrawn. Airlines will continue to adjust their flight schedules according to the airport’s operational timings.

Authorities have urged passengers to verify the latest status of their flights with their respective airlines before heading to the airport. Travellers have also been advised to depend only on official sources for accurate and timely updates regarding flight operations.
