DEC 6: Jammu & Kashmir BJP spokesperson and former Vice Chairman Balbir Ram Rattan has extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal on being nominated as Member of the Jammu & Kashmir Wildlife Board.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that Dr. Manyal has had a long and rich experience in public life. He is serving the people as an MLA for the second consecutive term and earlier held the highly important responsibility of Health Minister in the state government. In addition, the responsibilities entrusted to him within the party organization were also fulfilled with complete dedication and efficiency. He said that through his work in various fields, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal has demonstrated leadership ability and decision-making skills, which make him suitable for any new responsibility.
He expressed confidence that as a member of the Wildlife Board, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal will offer effective suggestions that will help reduce human & animal conflict, promote environmental conservation, ensure the protection of wildlife, and take meaningful steps to preserve forest areas. Balbir said that at a time when biodiversity and forest conservation have become global concerns, the inclusion of experienced individuals on the board is extremely important. He added that the party and the people expect that Dr. Manyal will use his experience to play a key role in making wildlife management more effective and modern.
On this occasion, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal also expressed gratitude for the trust and respect shown to him. He said that becoming a member of the Wildlife Board is not only an honour but also an important responsibility. He said that Jammu & Kashmir is rich in natural heritage, diverse wildlife, and vast forest areas, and it is the duty of all of us to protect them.
Dr. Manyal said he will make every possible effort to contribute to strong policy making aimed at controlling human–animal conflict, preventing illegal activities in forests, protecting the environment, and ensuring safe habitats for wildlife. He also assured that he will coordinate with concerned departments, experts, and local communities to suggest measures that can maintain a balance between development and conservation. He said he will fulfill this responsibility with full dedication and commitment and contribute to making Jammu & Kashmir environmentally stronger and safer.
